Enables continuous operational reliability without the need for water softeners or manual descaling.
Sold in packs of 150 tablets, typically in blue foil packaging—distinct from cleaning (detergent) or rinse tablets.
Directions for Use:
Ensure your oven cooling cycle is complete and the cabinet is safe to access.
Insert one Care Tab packet (foil packet, not individual tabs) into the blue drawer located behind the oven door. Ensure the drawer is securely closed.
If performing a full cleaning cycle (e.g. CleanJet + Care), also add the red detergent tab into its basket as instructed by the oven control.
The oven’s Efficient CareControl system automatically dispenses the care tab during the cleaning process and determines correct dosage and timing.
Run the automatic cleaning cycle, then inspect for residue and rinse the oven interior as needed.
Safety Tips:
While Rational does not publish a full Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for Care Tabs, they are alkaline, high‑pH maintenance substances—treat with caution similar to detergent tablets.
Wear protective gloves and eye protection during handling to avoid chemical contact.
If contact occurs:
Eyes: rinse for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
Skin: rinse thoroughly with water.
Ingestion: rinse the mouth, give water if conscious, do not induce vomiting, seek medical help promptly.
Inhalation (dust exposure): move to fresh air.
Ensure proper ventilation while the cleaning cycle runs, and allow the interior to dry before cooking.
